Ljubljana Airport Selects PAXGuide to Modernize Passenger Announcements

Ljubljana Airport (LJU) has chosen Sittig Technologies’ PAXGuide platform to modernize and automate its passenger announcement processes, marking the beginning of a new customer partnership.

The project focuses on creating a more consistent and efficient communication environment across the airport. To achieve this, Ljubljana Airport will implement PAXcallpoint for centralized announcement management, alongside PAXgate at all gates to automate boarding announcements.

At the core of the deployment is the use of text-to-speech technology, enabling the airport to deliver clear and standardized announcements in both English and Slovenian. This reduces reliance on manual calls while ensuring that passengers receive accurate information at the right time and location.

The solution will be delivered via the PAXGuide Cloud, hosted by Sittig Technologies. This approach allows Ljubljana Airport to deploy the system without additional on-site infrastructure while maintaining flexibility and scalability. Integration with the existing public address system, including the NSC Milo platform, ensures a smooth implementation within the current environment.
